Construction Support

Our involvement does not need to end when the design is issued.

We can provide engineering support during tender and construction, including:

• responding to contractor queries;
• reviewing alternative proposals;
• attending site meetings;
• inspecting structural work;
• reviewing unforeseen site conditions;
• preparing revised details;
• assessing construction defects;
• reviewing specialist design information;
• providing clarification to building standards officers; and
• assisting with completion-stage certification.

The level of construction support can be tailored to the project.

Unless specifically agreed, our appointment does not include continuous supervision of the works. Contractors remain responsible for workmanship, temporary stability, construction methods and site safety.
